I spent 5 years of my childhood in Stockton, then returned to attend the University of the Pacific -- graduating with honors in philosophy. Afterwards I spent many years as a manager for Tower Records (six times producing the top bottom line in a chain of over 100 stores), and I never dreamed I would one day return to Stockton. But after marrying my lovely wife Olga in 1999 we found ourselves priced out of the Bay Area housing market.
I decided to enter real estate in 2004, but just as I was completing my course-work, my wife became pregnant with our daughter Alexandra. She is the joy of our lives, but her impending arrival made me delay thoughts of a career change. But life has a way of intervening, and that's what happened to us: Tower Records closed. And so I joined Chinchiolo Realtors in January 2007!
With over 30 years experience Jim Chinchiolo is a fine mentor. As an independent broker Jim is able to give personal attention to his agents, and we in turn are able to give personal attention to our clients that you won’t find at the big corporate offices; and yet at the same time, we have the benefits of being one of the largest independent offices -- benefits such as number of listings and agents with whom we can network.
My first year has been challenging, but I have truly enjoyed the experience! And I am confident that what I may lack in experience will be compensated for by my intelligence, excitement and enthusiasm!
